Children's Hospital to implement iSirona device connectivity solution
Children's Hospital and Medical Center has adopted iSirona's device connectivity solution in conjunction with the launch of their new Epic electronic medical record (EMR).
Children's Hospital will be connecting devices enterprise-wide all across its in-patient care areas, oncology units, the emergency department and pre- and post-operative care units.
iSirona said it can now integrate approximately 200 monitors and at least 20 ventilators in the first phase of its implementation.
Children's Hospital and Medical Center CMIO & CIO George Reynolds said with device connectivity solution, nurses can spend more time providing direct care -- and this contributes to better outcomes for their patients.
